uh oh one of those annoying text posts no one is going to read.

so I have been going through some annoying life changes that have got me questioning my activities online and whether I want to keep doing them. I’m sure you’ve all been through similar. Anyway, for a while now updating iamfujoshi has been more of a chore because of uh certain thingsI will address in this stupid boring text post that no one will read anyway since this is tumblr™sooo here goes:

1. I turned off anon asks. Like, seriously guys. I linked the little thingy and put in bold “PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE ASKING” and I am still getting those same anon ’omgz where can I download this!?!?!’ questions. Unfortunately for me I’m the type who doesn’t really like just deleting the things people ask me without answering them even if it’s annoying, so it’s just become a stresser every time I’m like “should I delete this? Should I answer it? Wahhhhh.” PLEAAAAAASEstop asking me that question. Please? Please? Will you? Okay, I appreciate it. Obviously if the thing is a scanlation it exists online and I won’t mind as much, but for any and all raw manga just play it safe and assume the scan was done by me.

My apologies to everyone who goes anon because they’re shy. If it makes you feel any better, I do not reply publicly to my non-anon asks so.

2. This one goes out to all you bros who ~don’t like text on your blogs~. I’m sure none of you will listen to me. Actually I’m pretty sure some jerkwads will go out of their way to do what I’m requesting you not do if only because This Is The Internet™etc. so I’m probably just speaking into the wind. Also, this is most often done by people who reblog fromthe followers of iamfujoshi after they reblog from me. However, I humbly request you not delete the credit lines. You know, the Mangaka “Manga Title” line.That’s there for a reason—I post to iamfujoshi hoping to introduce new titles and artists to a wide crowd. When you delete the credit and then it gets reblogged from you and then your friends and then their friends, suddenly it’s all over tumblr and no one knows what it is or who it’s by. It’s pretty frustrating to be like “I want to read that!” but have no info on it. Yeah you’ll probably be like “whatever they’ll go back and check the source anyway!” but uh no they won’t. Almost every day I have someone reblogging something like “WHAT MANGA IS THIS WHO IS IT BY.” People tend to assume others don’t delete the text someone else put in their posts.

Like, I don’t care if you delete my stupid cheesy derp commentary. And I don’t care if you delete my blog link the few times I post it in if I reviewed the book. I really don’t. Have at. Doesn’t matter to me. But please, please, please do not delete the credits. Please. If I can introduce new artists to a large crowd, that’s all I want. If you delete that little line, you’re technically deleting the entire reason I even run this blog and that’s the reason I was thinking of deleting this blog. Because at some point there is seriously just no point in me running it anymore.

ANYWAY AHHHHH I hate to do downer posts like this because it’s an annoying waste of time to the 98% of you who are respectful and don’t do any of this crap. For a while I’ve been getting all “blehhhh iamfujoshi bleh bleh” but in reality I really like most of the people who follow this blog a lot and have met some of my best friends through it and sdfgl;jdgs’sdgs I really don’t want to feel this disenchanted running a blog that used to be so much fun.
