ack sorry I didn’t realize my asks were piling up so badly.
here goes another long answer session:
Anonymous asked you: which one of kojima lalako’s works do you recommend? ^q^
I love all of them actually! Sorry I’m not really helpful. If you’re in the mood for smut, her book through Libre is your best bet. If you’re in the mood for something lighthearted with just the right amount of sad, Neko no Yomeiri and Kimi to Parade are wonderful. Unfortunately many of my favorite stories from her haven’t been released in a book yet (her oneshots from Lynx) so while I adore them I can’t really soundly recommend them. Also if you’re in the mood to be upset for an hour after reading it, I recommend the oneshot that was recently translated by her Nanadome no Gomen ne.
Anonymous asked you: Is there only one volume of Me o Tojite 3-Byou? It ended really unexpectedly… or is that all that has been scanlated?
there in only one volume with various doujinshi additions. I don’t know if the scanlation is complete, though, since I don’t read the scanlation.
Hi, I’m a big fan of you, your blog, and your dedication. I was wondering if it wouldn’t be too much of a hassle and annoyance to ask if you could identify 2 bl works/their authors for me? I have a few screenshots but I can’t for the life of me figure where they’re from. :) — rorotea
okay I tried to answer this privately but for some reason my computer just won’t let me respond to fanmail-type messages. But yeah, if you want to link to or send me the images, I’d be more than happy to try and help. I can’t assure you I’d know, but I’d try my best!
subliminalsunshine asked you: What was the first BL manga that you read? (if you remember…)
wow that’s really hard because I started reading BL like 10+ years ago. Ummm the first BL-type thing I read was Gundam Wing doujinshi, which is what turned me onto the genre. But I think my first actual BL title was probably something by Higuri You—like Ramen Ikaga or something?? idk. I was really really into Higuri You when I was little.
Anonymous asked you: just curious, but what yaoi mangas make you wet? /hehehe
…………………………..lmao anon………. orz sigh I actually have a hard time answering this because a good portion of BL moderately turns me on (like, at the beginning of the sex scene) but it doesn’t really do it for me?? If that makes sense? But ones that I find really hot tend to be the really perverted and gross ones a lot of people won’t touch, like with crossdressing and incest and wow I am making myself sound gross I’m going to stop there.
adamantineheart asked you: where can I read… jk jk this blog appeared on my suggestions so I couldn’t resist
don’t make me block you victoria
Anonymous asked you: Can we be fabulous perverts instead? Because that’s how this blog makes me feel. FABULOUS MAX.
you can be any kind of pervert you want to be.
whippedcreampuddi69 asked you: Is Mob for Jack one of those yaoi that’s just a lot of sex and angst? What kind of storyline does it have? ^^
it’s just smut lmao. I think the plot is that the guy has sex with his dad and then joins the army and he’s addicted to sex and so he masturbates all the time and then he’s found out and has sex with other army officials idk it’s been a while since I read it but it was pretty dirty.
Anonymous asked you: Will you post more of Osawagase na koibito? (And know this might be a lot to request so please feel free to delete these if they get annoying.)
ummm sure? If you want me to. Honestly I don’t remember if there are really any dirty scenes in that one. I’d have to look. But I can definitely try to post more Konno Satomi if you want, since I pretty much collect her stories.
Anonymous asked you: Would you recommend “Suki ga ienai aishiteru”? if so, why? And if you haven’t read it, would you?
I think I’ve seen a chapter or two in random Rutile issues I’ve bought, but I don’t remember much about it. Yeah, I’d definitely read it just because… well… why not? Since I like Machiko Madoka’s art and that’s generally the only thing that keeps me from being interested in BL titles. (Well, that and I won’t read tragedy unless a good friend recommends it.)
whippedcreampuddi69 asked you: Would you mind posting some pictures from “Gakuen Deka Love Mission” and perhaps doing a summary? I’ve found summaries that haven’t been very intimate, could you help?
tbh I haven’t read it and don’t own it so I can’t post any scans. Sorry! I also haven’t read any summaries since I don’t like reading other peoples’ opinions on books until I’ve read the book myself first.
wearedifferent-butequal asked you: I’m a new follower & I absolutely love your blog <3<3 Thank you so so much for this blog.
aww thanks. 8) Sorry I haven’t been posting so regularly lately.
you are in my follow friday /post/23312810348/ ♥ — fujoshi-chin
thank you!

aww thanks a bunch!
Anonymous asked you: I don’t know if it’s just me but when I click the six-nine it says that “The URL you requested could not be found” whereas it works well for the others. Thanks for your reply and for the images you provide us. (Sorry for my english, I’m french)
unfortunately tumblr doesn’t seem to like having hyphens in their urls (which is a recent thing, thus why I initially used the hyphen for that tag) so I’m really not sure how to make it work again. Does anyone know? Otherwise if I have time I guess I’ll have to go through and change each tag one by one.
shittyurlname asked you: Hello! Love the blog - I’m sure you get that a lot! I know you have posted some panels from the manga; ZE, in the past, do you like any other Yuki Shimizu work’s? She is my favourite mangaka! I will have to check out some of Aniya Yuiji’s work, however, I’m sure I have undoubtedly come across some of it before. :) Keep up the cool blogging
I have. 8) I’ve read Love Mode and Recipe and then a bit of the beginning of Love Mode. Her stories are quite good—I enjoyed them. And thanks, I’m glad you like my blog and I hope you enjoy Aniya’s books if you ever get around to reading them!
Anonymous asked you: Sorry, I am not the best explain-er in the world but please listen to this. I am finding a yaoi but forgot the name of it. I think it has to do with this one boy who was forced to dress as a girl by his friends. After he escaped, he met a so called “prince.” I don’t remember much but I think the prince kept forcing the little guy to play with him since he’s bored.
unfortunately that story doesn’t sound too familiar to me, but maybe someone else will know?
machiajelli asked you: Hi! I’m really sorry to bother you, but awhile ago you made this post /11230163092, a panel that I believe is done by Ike Reibun, but I couldn’t find that panel within the manga you labeled it with, and I looked up Omawarisan to Kitsune, which I thought was the correct one, but when I read it it had the characters pictured, but that panel never showed up. Am I just being a goof, or could you maybe guide to where it’s from? ;u; Thanks!
that particular scene is from the tankoubon extra iirc!
mamasakii asked you: Can you recommend some good sites to buy Japanese BL manga that have been licensed and translated into English?
ahhh I’m not a really good person to ask because I don’t but English titles. The only place I buy from is amazon. But I do know a lot of people also use Yaoi Club and Akadot.
Anonymous asked you: I know this may sound totally crazy, and some people might find me weird but, yaoi and bl has given me a reason to live. I used to be very depressed and suicidal and I self-harmed alot, and the day I found yaoi my whole life-changed. Yaoi is funny, sweet and romantic, and it just made me happy. :) See, this proves that more man-on-man loving will make the world a better place. ;) btw, I’m a girl. Love the blog. <3
it’s not crazy—as long as you have something that makes you happy enough to keep on living that’s what’s most important. I don’t care if it’s gay porn or kittens or traveling or a best friend or a cheesy pop idol; as long as you have that special something that fills your heart then life is worth living. It doesn’t matter what it is. Anyone who’s going to judge you for having something to live for is an asshole and isn’t worth your time. I’m happy BL has improved your life, and I hope it continues to do so. I also hope you’re feeling better and on a steady track to a better and healthier place in your life. Live long and prosper, my fellow fujoshi. ❤
lovelycimbalom asked you: I LOVE YOUR BLOG(s). I honestly didn’t know that iamfujoshi and hazukashiikedo.wordpress were both you… (as soon as I found out I went to go ‘follow’ you here, but turns out I already was so HAH) Your BL collection is ASTOUNDING OH MY GOD. I am jealous of your life and your ability to roll around in like BL all day. Amazing. How long have you been a fujoshi??
lovelycimbalom asked you: P.S. I don’t usually fangirl people but I JUST HAD TO, sorry!
aww thank you for following both my blogs! 8) That means a lot to me. You honestly give me too much credit—I’m just an average broke person with a big obsession. I’ve liked BL since I was about 10, so I’ve been into it for almost 14 years I guess? Kind of a long time, but my interest has faded and returned about a million times over. However, I’ve only been as into it as I am now for about four years.
ladyyaoi asked you: BEAUTIFUL PERSON AWARD!!! Once you are given this award, you are supposed to paste it in the ask of 8 people who deserve it. If you break the chain nothing will happen, but it’s sweet to know someone thinks you’re beautiful inside and out. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
thanks! 8)
Anonymous asked you: You’ve mentioned before that there are series you don’t care for, but all other BL fans seem to love. Are there any series that only you seem to like? As in, a favorite of yours that everybody else who has read it seems to hate?
well one artist I really love that a lot of other people seem to love shitting on is Hoshino Lily. In general, the fandom consensus is that feminine characters = bad, but those are generally the characters types I fall for most and I absolutely adore all of Hoshino’s uke characters. Ummm I’ve also seen a lot of people hate on Ootsuki Miu, who is one of my top three favorite artists but it isn’t nearly as extreme as the mocking Hoshino Lily tends to get.
